SHELBOURNE TO REMAIN OPEN FOR ENGLAND/NORWAY ON SATURDAY

Ian Fortune

There are a few reasons to stay back after racing at Shelbourne Park on Saturday night, chief amongst them is the chance to watch the English taking on Norway and Erling Haaland in the quarter final of the World Cup.

The match is due to kick off at 10pm Irish time and the match will be shown on all the big screens with the bar remaining open to the end – including extra time and penalties if need be. It is the perfect excuse to stick around and see what the Sports Bar in Shelbourne Park can offer, while also allowing the concert traffic from the Aviva to dissipate.

Amble are playing the Aviva and the concert is likely to break at the similar time to the end of racing, meaning there will be road closures in place.
