There’s a real buzz building ahead of Friday night at Clonmel where something a little extra special is set to unfold.
The track will play host to 24 glamourous Roses, all potential Rose of Tralee competitors, promising an evening where the thrill of racing meets a touch of sparkle and celebration.
From the roar of the crowd to the clink of glasses, it’s shaping up to be a night full of warmth, style, and community spirit. Those present can expect a real sense of hospitality, plenty of wining and dining, and of course, some fantastic racing action under the lights.
Flying the flag proudly for Clonmel track is Emer Dunne (Pic right) of Ballingarry, Thurles. Emer has quickly become one of the most exciting young names in greyhound racing, and there’s a real sense of pride around Clonmel as she continues to make her mark.
Emer has runners on the night so there’ll be no shortage of cheers from those eager to see one of their own shine.
Adding to the magic, the Roses will be on hand to present prizes, bringing an extra layer of glamour to proceedings and ensuring every winner enjoys their moment in the spotlight.
It’s the kind of evening that captures everything that’s great about greyhound racing in Ireland; community spirit, celebration, and a deep-rooted love of the sport. Clonmel proudly reflects every one of those qualities. Whether you’re drawn by the racing, the electric atmosphere, or simply the promise of a great night out, this is an occasion not to be missed.
