KILKENNY GEARING UP FOR SUNDAY

This week sees a change to the normal schedule at Kilkenny. With all roads leading to the St James Park venue on Sunday evening, there will be no racing on Friday.

Of course, Sunday’s card will feature the final of the Champion Open Unraced and there is a stellar line-up chasing the €15,000 winner’s purse.

The supporting card features three other finals including that of the Oriental Kennels A2 525. It shoul be a tremendous evening and a bumper crowd seems inevitable with the card also acting as a fundraiser for ScoilBhride N.S. in Goresbridge. The opening race is set for 7.30pm.
