LUKA THE BAR 1 BETTING FAVOURITE FOR SPRINT HONOURS

Magical Luka will look to put a disappointing Silver Salver challenge behind him when he returns to Dundalk this Saturday for the opening round of the Bar 1 Betting Irish Sprint Cup.

The sponsors believe he can do so, however, with Pat Guilfoyle’s star introduced their 7-1 favourite for outright honours.

There is a very talented group of six just behind him on 10-1. The half dozen in question is made up of proven sprinters Tiermana Dream, Stonepark Browne and Droopys Scampi, the very talented The Other Aari and Montana Secret and exciting puppy Crafty Coolio.

2025 Sprinter of the Year Sogna Ancora sits alone on 12-1, while Early Payout and Droopys Apollo come next at 14-1. The other others below 20-1 are Fantasy Adam and Firstpastthepost, both of which can be backed at 16-1.
