GIZMO AND PRINCE TAKE FRIDAY FEATURES AT SHELBOURNE

There were three finals up for decision at Shelbourne Park on Friday night and each were won in fine style.

Gizmo Mysterio was a good winner of the Upcoming Feature Events NB A1 525, showing tremendous early speed to make all for Jamie Magee.

The son of Gizmo Cash and Canvar was never threatened after getting loose and he stayed on well to beat the fast-finishing Highview Air by two and a half lengths in 28.52.

PRINCE OBLIGES

Later on the card it was the turn of Maireads Prince to land the spoils in the Two Steps To Victory A1 525/550.

A good winner of the Friends of Newbridge A1 Derby at Newbridge earlier in the month, Barry Clancy’s son of Droopys Sydney brought his May earnings to €5,500 as he dominated to see off Lemon Herbie by two and a half lengths in 29.72.

GALLANT AND ACCEPT COULDN’T BE SEPARATED

Earlier on the card Droopys Gallant and Accept Ordecline couldn’t be separated in the final of the Sporting Press A3 NB 525.

Droopys Gallant made every inch for Murt Leahy and the Roll The Dice Syndicate only to be joined on the line by Accept Ordecline. The pair stopped the clock in 28.55.
