Some months back Tom O'Connor, Tom Pa, set about a mammoth fundraising effort with the support of friends and family, to raise money for cancer charities in Munster. His fundraising efforts were his way of saying thank you for the support he had received during his own cancer experience and he wanted to show the strength of the greyhound community while he did. With great supporters behind him, he has succeeded in raising over €125,000 for cancer charities and support services in his own county of Kerry, Cork and Limerick.
