Rusty Tractor followed up a superb debut to win the final of the Track Supporters Open Unraced 400 at Dundalk on Friday evening.

An exciting son of King Sheeran and Barnish Skye, Rusty Tractor came away racing from the inside box.

Boylesports Acca soon emerged as the main danger but ran a very wide line around the two bends, leaving Rusty Tractor to enter the home straight in complete command. Trained by Roy Ruddy for Jackson Ruddy, Rusty Tractor was never under any pressure on the run in but Boylesports Acca did finish fast to close the gap significantly.

Rusty Tractor took the honours by a length and three parts in a fast 21.17 with Boylesports Acca also running a big race in second. Have no doubt, both greyhounds are likely to contend at the highest level in the future.
