WATERFORD FC ATTRACT A BIG CROWD TO KILCOHAN PARK

Waterford FC held a big fundraising night at Kilcohan Park on Saturday night and it attracted a great crowd.

On the track, the performance of the night came in the closing race as Rockmount Zak went quickest on the clock when winning for trainer Brendan Murphy.
In the ownership of Carol O'Connor, the 3-1 winner was making it three straight wins in fantastic fashion. Hitting the front at the opening corners, the talented tracker displayed plenty of pace on the back straight to quickly put the race to bed. Always in control up front, the impressive winner pulled six lengths clear of Fagans Garden, in 29.33. (.50 slow). (A0-A1).

ANOTHER TO IMPRESS
In the fourth of the night, Elite Josh was another to impress when winning for Myles Roban.

The February puppy showed nice early pace to take up the running early and from there, the outcome was never in any doubt. The even-money favourite was recording back-to-back wins, winning easily, in 29.54.
