QUALITY OVER QUANTITY ON IRISH FOCUS

Ian Fortune

There is some exceptional racing on tonight’s instalment of the Irish Focus on sisracing.tv with visits to Waterford, Shelbourne Park and Kilkenny.

While there isn’t an abundance of racing, the quality of the action is not up for debate.

We actually start at Shelbourne Park and will look back on the thrilling finish to the Suncroft Festival Puppy Oaks, while we will also look back at the semi-finals of the Shelbourne Open 600.

The action from Waterford includes three superb performances in the semi-finals of the Droopys Stud Select Stakes. Beanos Yank went fastest and Microchip ran well to win but most interest was in Magical Luka as he made his debut over the 525yd trip and he certainly didn’t disappoint.

We finish up at Kilkenny and a look back at the sensational display of Carrick Becks in the final of the Champion Open Unraced.

The Irish Focus will go live at 6pm so head over to https://www.sisracing.tv/tag/irish/ and remind yourself of what a wonderful weekend it was in Irish greyhound racing.
