A total of 15 Irish greyhound from a possible 22 qualified from the second round of the Star Sports/ TRC English Greyhound Derby over the weekend with 9 of the 16 heats going to the raiding party. 

There were some exceptional performances over the two nights and it was no surprise to see the Irish sending out the four fastest heat winners. Below we have broken down the challenge, highlighting some of the stats from the second round focusing on the Irish runners.
