Greyhound Racing Ireland have announced the launch of the new pay-per-view Talking Dogs TV, which will offer a Saturday night programme offering live Irish greyhound racing to both Irish and international audiences. 

Launching the new Talking Dogs TV service, Frank Nyhan, Chairman, of Greyhound Racing Ireland said, “We are delighted to announce details for Talking Dogs TV and we look forward to its roll out in the weeks ahead.  For the first time our racing will be available to followers around the globe through the same service and we are enthused at the prospect of making it easier for people to make a connection with top level greyhound racing regardless of where they might be located.” 

The launch of Talking Dogs TV is the latest evolution in the development of the Talking Dogs platform which now includes an online daily news-site, weekly podcasts (on Sunday & Thursday), Monday night review programmes alongside traditional media outlets. 

The Saturday night programme will feature racing from Shelbourne Park along with a second venue, showcasing the best of Irish greyhound racing.  It will also bring greyhound racing to an international audience and provide a sense of home from home for the Irish diaspora and racing fans worldwide. 

Full details of the new service will be rolled out in the coming weeks and the platform will be available to greyhound racing enthusiasts everywhere in the world from Saturday 27th March.  The curtain-raiser will feature racing from Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium, alongside the opening heats of the Con & Annie Kirby 2021 live from Limerick Greyhound Stadium.
