CORNER THE LATEST TO EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL INTEREST

Hackney Corner became the latest greyhound to be linked with the TIME Dundalk International. It means that three of the six finalists in the English Greyhound Derby have now expressed interest in the famous invitation race.

The Pat Buckley trained Hackney Corner was a brilliant semi-final winner in the English Derby but carried little luck in the decider. He joins English Derby champion Lennies Eddie and the soon to be UK trained Ballymac Ralf, who was fourth in the English Derby, as a potential runner, while Kirby Memorial runner-up and Race of Champions winner Ballycowen Frank has also thrown his hat in the ring.

There is still time for expressions of interest and one suspects there are many more going to do so. The TIME Dundalk International boasts a brilliant winner’s purse of €20,000 and will as always be run on July 12th which happens to be a Sunday this year.
