CLONBRIEN PIPER TOPS LIMERICK SALES AT €6,200

The latest Limerick greyhound sales on Saturday 15th August produced another very strong result , with Clonbrien Piper a September 24 son of Newinn Taylor who had previously won over 600 yards at the end of June clocking 33.19 at Limerick set the bar for the day clocking a sensational 28.48 fastest time of the day topping the sales at €6,200

Oakfront Laurel, an April 2025 Malachi dog, arrived at the sale with an impressive race debut win in 29.49 around Curraheen Park on July 24th and this morning he impressed when winning his trial in 29.04. His performance clearly caught the attention of buyers, with spirited bidding ultimately taking him to the next best price of the day at €3,700.

The third highest price was achieved by Tallyho Hill, an unraced McInerney dog. A February 2025 pup, he produced an excellent sales trial performance, winning in 29.26. That effort generated significant interest, with the youngster eventually selling for €3,300.

Rosshill Diamond a September 24 Grangeview Ten dog came into the sales in the form of his life with three wins from six races and he produced a career best to date winning his sales trial in 28.64 and was knocked down for €3200 to his new connections.

Maree Tiote was another who changed hands for €3,200. He brought valuable race experience to the sale, having already recorded a career win in 29.20. In his sales trial he again recorded 29.20, and his proven ability and established form were reflected in the strong price achieved.

Maree Solano was making €4,000 on the bench but wasn’t sold as reserve was €5000
