CARRIGOON BRIA (Pestana-Carrigoon Lottie) ran out a brilliant winner of the feature at Kilcohan Park on Saturday night, the €2,500 to the winner Slaneyside Kennels Solutions Kennels A1 Stake.

Noel Casey’s runner was called in from the reserves and she made full use of the opportunity. There were plenty in the mix heading into the opening corner, but with the advantage of the inside line, the winner drove a brave opening corner to lead around from Lucky Mover.

Flying down the back straight, the impressive winner opened up a healthy advantage. From here, the 3-1 winner was always in cruise control.

Keeping on well, she came home four lengths clear of Lucky Mover, in 28.78. Hot favourite Daring Oreo was out of luck at the opening corner, but he displayed big speed to grab third, a length behind the runner up.
