Further to enquiries received by GRI about reopening Lifford Greyhound Stadium, GRI is pleased to state:

GRI can confirm it received a commercial proposal from a third party about reopening Lifford Greyhound Stadium. Having considered this, GRI sought clarification from the third party about elements of its proposal. To date GRI has not received a response to its queries but currently considers these discussions a deliberative process while awaiting a satisfactory response. Any third-party commercial proposal considered by GRI must be underpinned by a persuasive business plan. It must also be fully compliant with all laws and statutory requirements relevant to GRI’s operations.
