RPGTV AGREE SPONSORSHIP OF THREE MAJOR IRISH GREYHOUND RACING COMPETITIONS IN 2022

Racing Post Greyhound TV has underlined its commitment to Irish greyhound racing by agreeing three major sponsorship deals for 2022 with Mullingar's Cesarewitch plus the Juvenile Derby and Puppy Oaks at Shelbourne Park all coming under the channel's banner.
A near 50 per cent increase to a minimum of 19 live Irish broadcasts was announced last month, the first of which saw Skywalker Barry's Shelbourne Gold Cup victory shown at the start of February.
RPGTV first sponsored in Ireland at last December's Winter Racing Festival and a more substantial portfolio has now been revealed beginning with the 600 yards Cesarewitch at Mullingar which will be shown in its entirety through to a conclusion on Sunday, May 15.
The Juvenile Derby at Shelbourne Park is pencilled in for Saturday, October 22, while the Puppy Oaks at the Dublin venue on Saturday, November 5 will form half of RPGTV's first-ever Irish double-header alongside the Irish Laurels decider from Curraheen Park, Cork.
Kevan Moretti, chairman and CEO of SportyStuffTV, the channel which hosts RPGTV, commented: “Audience reaction to our first sponsorship at the Winter Racing Festival proved very positive, and in keeping with our vocation to showcase the very best greyhound racing, we are delighted to expand our coverage, and backing, of marquee racing events in Ireland this year.”

This sponsorship announcement follows on from their commitment to feature even more live Irish racing in 2022 with events throughout the country to reach their international audience on both TV and online. This live coverage will of course include all three of their sponsored finals and all rounds of the Irish Cesarewitch live from Mullingar.”
