PUCKANE TOP LOT AT FIRST THURLES SALES OF 2022

Thurles Greyhound Stadium opened their doors on Thursday, February 3rd to their first greyhound sales of 2022 and there were a large number of buyers in attendance.

The sales recorded a turnover of just under €70,000 and Puckane Cutey topped the bill, fetching an incredible €11,200. Only a December 20’ whelp, the son of Burgess Bucks and Droopys Cutey came into the sales with an impressive 18.24 trial around Thurles and he followed that up with a brilliant 29.33 .30s on the day.

Abigails Jen - September 20’ daughter of Great Blue Shark and Robeen Magic posted 29.76 .30s and was sold for €3,900

Abigails Jumbo - September 20’ son of Great Blue Shark and Robeen Magic posted 29.73 .30s and was sold for €3,800

Aarons Digger - July 20’ son of Droopys Sydney and Do A Runner posted 29.56 .30s and was sold for €3,800

Errill Rain - September 20’ daughter of Great Blue Shark and Robeen Magic posted 29.66 .30s and was sold for €3,200

Catch Em Mossie - September 20’ son of Confident Rankin and Work Your Head posted 29.77 .30s and was sold for €2,750

Work The Head - September 20’ son of Confident Rankin and Work Your Head posted 29.82 .30s and was sold €2,500

Classy Ruler - September 20’ son of Spoofer and Dark Sally was beaten two lengths in 29.76 .30s and was sold for €2,250

Vinegar Joe - August 20’ son of Droopys Sydney and Kilgowan Pippa posted 29.84 .30s and was sold for €2,000
