GRI

Rásaíocht Con Éireann (RCÉ) has been in contact with the Animal Health Division of the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine (DAFM) in relation to the recent correspondence issued by the Animal Health Division (DAFM) to Greyhound Owners re. Regulation (EU) 2016/429 (Animal Health Law) i.e. Balai Certs and Export Health Certs.

The Animal Health Division (DAFM) has advised that they will accept RCÉ Welfare Inspection Reports, in place of the requested Annex I Inspection Report, and a copy of the RCÉ Welfare Officer Inspection Report for 2021 (which would have been furnished to you following a Welfare Inspection by one of our Welfare Officers) can be submitted to LiveTrade@agriculture.gov.ie or post to Live Trade 4C, Agriculture House, Kildare Street, Dublin 2, D02 WK12. Please ensure that the K9 number (which is located on the DAFM correspondence which you have received) is included on the RCÉ Welfare Inspection Report which you are to submit.
