Adam Matthews leads us through the aptly titled, “a day in the life of a greyhound” in the latest episode of the Behind The Track docu--series which is due to be released at 6pm this evening.

Of course, Adam is a member of the famed Matthews clan and when you see the care, attention and general set-up of their Town View Kennels outfit, it’s no surprise they have been so successful over the years.

Adam brings us through the day of one of their trackers, does his best Vidal Sassoon impression as he displays his grooming technique and gives a few pointers. It really is a wonderful behind the scenes look at one of the best kennels in the land, while the scenes from the living room when watching one of their stars, De Machine, winning last year’s Champion Stakes is tremendous viewing.
