ANOTHER BIG TURNOUT LIKELY AT KILKENNY

Another Friday means another big crowd is expected at Kilkenny this evening.

Tonight’s card acts as a fundraiser for Tullaroan GAA and the action on the track is headlined by the semi-finals of the TIME Greyhound Nutrition A3 525.

ACE TO FIRE

Karol Ramsbottom has been absolutely rampant through the competition, winning all three second round heats and he will attempt to win both semis this evening.

Deadly Ace is his sole representative in the opening heat and he has a kind draw on the fence.

If starting on terms, he could quickly establish himself as the one to beat, although the likes of Flamin Cashless, Lemon Gogo and Triangle Musashi are also respected. Deadly Ace is in terrific form and is selected to get loose early before coming home in front.

IT CAN BE ALL ABOUT CRAIC AND SOBER

Some thirty-five minutes later, the second heat sees Bricken Sober and All About Craic line out for Ramsbottom and the pair could well fight out the finish.

Both impressed last week and seem to have a little in hand on their rivals.

Both can race prominently before asserting from the second turn. Slight preference is for All About Craic. Of the remainder, Fun Time Max is drawn to step up on recent efforts, while Triangle Apollo seems to be improving and is sure to come home well.
