Sales Meeting – Saturday April 24th

Entries Invited for Sales Meeting on Saturday April 24th. Entry Fee €20. It is recommended that all greyhounds entered in the Sales have an EU Pet Passport with a Rabies vaccination certified on Pet Passport by a veterinary surgeon (preferably administered by Saturday April 3rd.)

Weigh in Procedure

While under Level 5 Covid – 19 restrictions the following is now the procedure for weighing in greyhounds for racing:

1: Greyhounds and handler will enter the Stadium via the bottom of the car park (parallel to the main road), through the double red gates. 1 handler per greyhound.

2: Greyhounds must be emptied in the middle of the track prior to weigh in

3: Once weighed in, greyhounds must be kenneled immediately and cannot return to the infield

4: Handlers will then return to the carpark via the Red door in the kennel area (previously used entrance).

Kilkenny Greyhound Stadium seeks the cooperation of all so racing can continue in a safe environment and in line with current restrictions.

Every runner must have taken part in at least one race or trial line in the past twenty one (21) days at Kilkenny Track.

Every runner must have at least three (3) relevant lines of form over the distance at Kilkenny Track in the previous three (3) months, with at least two (2) of these being race form.

Every runner must have at least one satisfactory trial over at least two (2) bends subsequent to a fall, or being beaten a distance, before the greyhound takes part in a race at Kilkenny Track
