2025 marks a major milestone for Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium, 25 years since the doors first opened. A quarter of a century of memories, milestones, and magnificent race nights.

Of course, the history of greyhound racing in Cork dates back to the 1920’s to the birth of modern track racing. We’ve compiled a timeline of the big milestones in Cork Greyhound Racing, take a look back now.

Since 2000, Curraheen Park has stood proudly as the home of greyhound racing in Cork, offering top-class facilities, thrilling competition, and unforgettable nights out for families, and local communities alike.

To mark this special occassion, we recently held a fantastic celebration night at the stadium, a fitting tribute to everyone who has been part of our story over the last two and a half decades. From the racing greats and legendary trainers to the loyal supporters who fill the stands week after week, this night was for you.
