While weather has been causing havoc with the schedule in recent days, there is plenty of quality racing to look forward to at Kilkenny.

Entries now invited for the Blackstone Kennels A2/A3 525 Sweepstake, which gets underway on Friday, January 31^st.

Kindly sponsored by Paddy Sinnott of Blackstone Kennels fame, this sweep is for 36 runners with back-graders allowed and boasts an impressive winner’s purse of €2,000.

Kilkenny is also gearing up for its first sales meeting of 2025. It is scheduled for Saturday, February 15^th and owners and trainers are asked to get their entries in as soon as possible. Of course, this will be the first sakes since late November so there should be plenty of opportunities on the day and business is likely to be brisk on the day.
