Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for Greyhound Racing Ireland, said: “What a tremendous start to the Bar One Racing Irish Laurels at Curraheen Park. Tribal Syd has showed his rivals why he is the outright favourite to win the €30,000 but there is still a long way to go in the competition. Tuono Charlie won his 15th race in a row at Limerick in the Irish Cambridgeshire. There will be some celebrations if he manages to make it win 16 and claim the title!”
