TRIANGLE BRANDO LANDS THE KILCOHAN PARK FEATURE IN FINE STYLE

TRIANGLE BRANDO ran out a fine winner of the €1,500 to the winner Whitewood Kennels A3 Stake Final at Kilcohan Park on Saturday night.

In great form in recent weeks, the 5-2 winner was making it three straight wins in the feature final. Owned and trained by John Codd, the in-form tracker won the all-important early lead and once it slipped around the opening corners in front, it was always going to take plenty of stopping.

Strong throughout, it was another impressive winning performance, clocking 29.24 and coming home with two and a half lengths to spare over Jacktavern Tiger who was back in second place.

John & Jess Codd. Sponsor Laura Earle. Amy Harney & Jimmy Maguire also included.

QUICKEST RUN

The quickest run over the standard distance came in the fourth of the night, an A1, as Kohinoor Spinner delivered a superb 28.76 winning run when winning with plenty to spare.

Owned and trained by John O'Donnell, the bright prospect was making it three wins from just four career starts.

The 3-1 shot hit the front at around the halfway mark and he pulled right away for a wide margin success. Going on that, he's one to watch in the coming weeks and months.
