TREATY WARMS UP NICELY FOR LEGER DEFENCE

The 2024 Willwego.co Irish St. Leger is scheduled to start this weekend at Limerick Greyhound Stadium and reigning champ, Clonbrien Treaty, looks to be in fine fettle ahead of his title defence.

Graham Holland’s runner, who is fresh from his exploits in Towcester, flew around Limerick on Saturday night to record a flash 28.16 and is obviously a leading player heading into this weekend’s Classic.

Another notable trial on the night was that of Miami King, who after posting a blistering 29.50 one week prior for the 550-yard trip, went even faster when stopping the clock in an incredible 29.30.

Faypoint Sean (28.21) and Bockos Crystal (28.56) also trialled on the night.

Final reminder to owners and trainers that entries close this morning at 11.00AM sharp.
