TREATY GOES FAST IN EASTER CUP PREP

After it was confirmed last week that Clonbrien Treaty was on his way back from a spell on the sidelines in an attempt to defend his Bresbet Easter Cup crown, he highlighted his well-being in a sprint trial at Limerick on Saturday night.

The brilliant son of Pestana, who is a four-time classic winner, flew around in 18.33 and is right on course for the Shelbourne classic, which commences next week.
