BALLYMAC SIUN (King Elvis-Ballymac Merkle) made it a hat trick of straight successes when winning the feature in the Kingdom on Friday night, the €3,000 to the winner Timmy Ward Memorial A1 Stakes.
Tiermana Hunter set sizzling early fractions, however, the eye was always drawn to the 1-2 favourite. Making her move at halfway, the exciting prospect was showing massive speed and she came alongside nearing the final corner. Staying on powerfully, the classy winner pulled two lengths clear of the early paced runner up. A superb 28.27 winning run.
Bound By Belief (Burgess Bucks-Conquering Queen) impressed when winning the €1,100 to the winner RCETS Traceability App Novice Stakes. Owned by Michael and Kevin O’Connor, the 4-5 favourite drove a great opening corner to lead, quickening clear, the February puppy got the better of Ardrahan Kahoot, by three and a half lengths, in 28.85.
Making the most of the inside to lead at the opening bend, Daleroad Devon (Ballymac Cashout-Mystical Luna) ran out a convincing winner of the €1,200 to the winner Tilemaster Ardfert Stakes. Once leading around the opening corners, it looked game over. Trained by Patrick Guilfoyle for Tomas O’Keeffe, the 4-6 favourite took control heading down the back straight and he displayed big gears up front. A 28.31 winning run, six and a half lengths clear of Labana Cody.
