Exciting night ahead at Tralee on Friday April 18th with a fully sponsored card with the Ballymac @ Stud Festival of Racing.

There will be additional prizemoney for all the races on the night and a mix of grades and distances  with entries being sought for 12 dogs sweeps that run this weekend.

All very generously sponsored by Ballymac Kennels. And of course the big feature race on that night is the Final of the 2025 John & Mary Killeacle Dowling Memorial kindly sponsored each year by Liam & Declan Dowling. 

Speaking at Ballymac Kennels for the launch of the Ballymac @ Stud Festival night Liam said "We're delighted to sponsor the sweep again this year in memory of our parents who were great doggy people. It's a fantastic sweep always, the 570 is a bit of a change in Tralee and it brings out the staying type dog which is great to see. And with sponsoring the rest of the card as well we're delighted to do to give something back to the dog people."

Shane Dowling told how all in the family and at Ballymac Kennels are "looking forward to the final of the John & Mary Killeacle Dowling sweep, it's always a great sweep and in particular this year it's a very hot competition, it's going to take a great greyhound to win it. It's great to be sponsoring the whole card on the night with our Ballymac dogs currently at stud, a lot of people that race in Tralee use our stud dogs, and it's nice to be putting it back in prizemoney and appreciate them."
