SALEEN SHANNON, owned and trained by Patrick O'Connor, displayed plenty of speed and power when winning the €2,000 to the winner TIME Nutrition A3 Bitch Stake Final at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium on Friday night.
As expected, it was Timmys Choice who took them along early with both Ardrahan Kaviar and the winner looking dangerous heading down the back straight. It was all to play for at halfway, but it was Saleen Shannon, a 3-1 shot, who kept on best in the second half. Galloping strongly to the line, the strong running winner stopped the clock, in 28.95, two and a half lengths clear of the running on Champers Coco.

Ever So Heidi pulled out all the stops to win the €1,000 to the winner Kingdom Novice Stakes for Edward O'Sullivan. The May puppy didn't enjoy the clearest of runs at the opening corner, but she recovered well, and she dug deep in the closing stages to fend off the front-running Scarty Finnoula, by a short head, in 29.65.
