In response to the recent media attention surrounding the funding of our industry, Rásaíocht Con Éireann / Greyhound Racing Ireland have participated in media interviews, offered representation and issued response to commentary over the last week.

RCÉ / GRI CEO Gerard Dollard partipcated in an on-air interview on Newstalk Breakfast last week where he reiterated that the Governing body is committed to tackling welfare issues in the industry.

RCÉ / GRI had agreed to participate in a segment on Morning Ireland but this did not go ahead.

Today FM

RCÉ / GRI had also committed to an on-air discussion but this was declined as they made the decision to have input from Holly Cairns and Michael Healy Rae.
