Paul Hennessy and Graham Holland will be at Towcester on Sunday afternoon with each represented by four greyhounds.
There are four Irish entries in the Betgoodwin & JR Racing Maiden Derby, two from each handler, while they will also have two runners each in the English Derby Trial Stakes.
Paul Hennessy has entered both his Juvenile Derby finalist Hello Diego and the exciting Winter Racing Festival winner Lennies Desire for the Maiden Derby, while Graham Holland will be represented by Val Tashadelek and the promising Bartlemy Mainoo.
IRISH INTEREST IN DERBY TRIAL STAKES
There are also a number of Star Sports/ TRC English Derby Trial Stakes on the card with Barefoot On Fire and Boylesports Blue in action for Paul Hennessy and Ardera Sam and Faypoint Harvey racing for Graham Holland.
Of course, Faypoint Harvey won the Juvenile Championship at Towcester last year, a race his Derby winning kennel companion Bockos Diamond is targeting later this month. The final of the Maiden Derby is actually scheduled to finish on Sunday. April 20th, the same day as the Juvenile, which will once again be sponsored by TIME Greyhound Nutrition.
