PICKLES OUT OF EASTER CUP

Word came through this morning that Coosane Pickles will be a non-runner from the opening round of the Bresbet Easter Cup on Saturday night after picking up a little niggle in her latest run.

The brilliantly fast daughter of Droopys Sydney won’t be on the sidelines for long and we look forward to her return.

Of course, she had been in in superb form in recent weeks since her comeback after a winter layoff and looks certain to contest for major honours later in the year. She was due to race from five in the red-hot opening heat and her absence will make the task a little bit easier for the likes of De Lahdedah, Callaway Knegare and Tarsna Maasai.
