PENSION TIM, for Leo Dunphy, made it two wins from just three career outings when winning the €1,000 to the winner Christmas Parties @ Kilcohan Park ON2/ON3 Stake at Kilcohan Park on Saturday night.

The 4-6 favourite wasn't the quickest away; however, the April puppy drove a fantastic opening corner to turn second behind Slaneyside Solas. It was a fantastic contest from here, with the winner leading before the second last corner, and the promising youngster had to pull out all the stops to just get the better of the Slaneyside runner, in 29.54.

In the €750 to the winner Waterford Track Supporters Club A4 Stake Final, it was Monroe Mission who came home in front for John Codd. Only fourth after turning the opening corner, the 5-1 winner was catching the eye on the back straight, and the powerful running tracker put on an outstanding finish to beat Daring Klopp by half a length, in 29.19, making it back-to-back wins.
