NATIONAL PRODUCE STAKES JUST AROUND THE CORNER

Peter Farrell

Fresh from the exploits of Knockeen Dazzler in the Con & Annie Kirby decider last Saturday night at Limerick, juvenile attention now turns to the National Produce Stakes, which is scheduled to commence on Friday 24th May at Clonmel.

The Classic, which was landed in 2023 by Burgess Supreme, always attracts a top-class entry and the 2024 renewal is expected to prove no different.

Owners and trainers should note however, that if the required 60-entries are not received, then the first round will be pushed back by one-week, until 31st May, with the final scheduled for Sunday, 23rd June.

With the National Produce Stakes in mind, Clonmel would like to highlight that they will be running two unraced stakes over the coming weeks and entries are now being accepted.

ON2/ON3 525 & ON1 525

Both stakes scheduled to start on Friday, 10th May.

Entries close on Tuesday, 7th May @ 10am.
