MOLLY EXPECTED TO TAKE PLENTY OF STOPPING IN THE NOVICE 730 FINAL

BARNFIELD MOLLY, trained by Kevin McLean for owner Tomas Leahy, is selected to make it back-to-back wins in the €800 to the winner Novice 730 Final at Kilcohan Park tonight.

The pacey performer has shown much improved form in recent times, and she really benefited from the step up in distance last week. There is much more to come, and she is fancied to build on that 41.44 winning performance. With a quick start out wide, she should take plenty of stopping.

Proper Rocket, for Willie O'Connor, set the standard last week, and he has obvious claims going on his 41.23 winning run. He will need to turn handy around the opening corners, but in doing so, he will be a real danger to all.

In other races, Daring Bentley can make the most of the drop in class in the seventh. In the care of James Maguire and Michael Millar, the selection has won a total of 23 times, and he has some decent recent form in the book. The ultra consistent tracker can turn along the early pace and prove too strong.
