It’s that time of year again and entries are being invited for the €15,000 Deadly Kennels McCalmont Cup A1/A2 525 (B’graders Allowed) which gets underway at Kilkenny on Friday, February 27th.
Once again sponsored by Gary Hannon of the Deadly Kennels, it is for 36 greyhounds and boasts a wonderful winner’s purse of €7,000.
Prior to the McCalmont Cup, entries are invited for the KGOBA A3/A4 525 Sweepstake which commences on Friday, January 30th. Again, this is for 36 dogs (B’graders Allowed) and is worth €2,000 to the winner.
Sales season is also on the horizon at Kilkenny and entries are now being welcomed for the sales meeting at Kilkenny on Saturday, February 7th.
