Graham Holland is the 2025 winner of our Personality of the Year!
Graham Holland’s historic achievement in training his fifth Irish Derby winner makes him a superb choice for this year’s Personality of the Year award.
Winning the 2025 BOYLE Sports Irish Derby with Cheap Sandwiches – who was runner-up in 2024 – was a wonderful feat, coming on top of the dog’s success in the Dundalk International, and his appearance in the English Derby final.
The Golden, Co. Tipperary trainer previously won with Rural Hawaii in 2016, Lenson Bocko in 2019, Newinn Taylor in 2020, and Bockos Diamond in 2024. His hard work is equaled by that of his family, wife Nicky, sons Chris and Timmy and daughter Rachel, all of whom are totally dedicated to the greyhounds in their care, and do a super job bringing out the best in them.
Well done to Graham on this superb achievement which will live long in the history books of the sport.
