Ian Fortune

After a massive debut run in the opening round of the Carrick Aldo @ Stud ON1 400 at Dundalk last weekend, Magical Luka really did thrust himself into the spotlight in Saturday’s second round, clocking a brilliant 20.91 on his way to a sensational success.

The Pat Guilfoyle trained son of King Sheeran and Magical Mary was actually headed in the early yards by the fast-starting Droopys Version but he was soon up that rivals inner before really starting to assert from the opening bend.

Charging up the long home straight at Dundalk, the exciting October ’23 whelp would emerge a facile four and a half length winner over Rolo Tokyo with Droopys Version another three and a half lengths further back in third.
