DIAMOND FLIES IN TOWCESTER TRIAL

Bockos Diamond gave another clear indication that he is comfortable around Towcester when flying around the Northamptonshire venue in a trial on Sunday afternoon ahead of his assignment in the TIME Greyhound Nutrition Juvenile Championship next weekend.

In what was one of the most insanely hot trial sessions, Bockos Diamond was faster than a host of star names, flying around in 28.51 off a sensational 3.93 sectional. His kennel companions Bombay Pat and Cheap Sandwiches also trialled. Derby runner-up Cheap Sandwiches recorded 28.69 off a 3.99 sectional, while Bombay Pat posted 28.74 off a moderate 4.17 sectional.

BOB FASTEST OF HENNESSY’S DUO

Paul Hennessy also trialled a couple.

His 2024 English Derby runner-up Boylesports Bob returning to Towcester to spin around in 28.79 (4.11). Dynamic Fair also trialled for Hennessy, clocking 28.98 off a 4.00 sectional.

DOLLAR LOOKS SHARP FOR BYRNE

Untold Dollar had his first piece of public work since making the switch to the kennels oft David Byrne. He moved fluently in a 15.70 return for the 270m trip. His kennel companion, National Puppy Stake winner, Untold Rufiyaa, clocked 15.85 moments later.

Incidentally, March On Freddie (28.71/4.11), Wicky Ned (28.56/ 3.95) and Proper Heiress (28.69/4.03) are all scheduled to meet Bockos Diamond in the Juvenile and all three trialled very well also.
