COLD WEATHER UPDATE - TUESDAY 7TH JANUARY 2025

The RCÉ Executive Team met this morning to review all track inspections that have taken place across the country today in the context of the current weather forecast issued by Met Eireann. 

Following that review RCÉ wish to advise that due to current track conditions and forecasted temperatures the following has been confirmed:

*All racing activity at stadia nationwide is cancelled today (Tuesday 7th January)

*Racing due to be held tomorrow (Wednesday 8th January) in Kilkenny & Youghal has been cancelled

*Racing due to be held on Thursday (9th January) in Limerick & Kilcohan Park, Waterford has also been cancelled. 

Clonmel were also due to host an additional race meeting on this day, this has also been cancelled.
