COE SHELBOURNE BOUND AFTER YORKSHIRE SUCCESS

Ian Fortune

Greenwell Coe is coming to Shelbourne Park. That was the big news after he ran away with the Yorkshire Derby at Doncaster at the weekend.

The Tom Heilbron trained star, who is owned by Kenny Glen, was a drifter in the market ahead of the contest but flashed from trap five to dominate. He would go on to win comfortably n a rapid 28.96, which is just nine spots off the track record.

In an interview after the race, Hielbron suggested the dog is now going to be targeting the Boylesports Irish Greyhound Derby and is set to join Pat Buckley for the duration of his stay on Irish soil. The son of Droopy Sydney is clearly a rapid improver and could be really suited by Shelbourne Park. Best of luck to connections.
