Following the news that Towcester and sales auction company Greyhound Trader would be hosting a pre-English Derby sales later this month, they yesterday announced an exciting bonus scheme to any greyhound sold at the sales that goes on to win an English Derby, English St Leger or an English Oaks.
The latest statement reads:
Sales Auction company Greyhound Trader are pleased to announce that they have teamed up with GAIN Greyhound Nutrition to offer a £10,000 bonus to any greyhound going on to win an English Derby, English St Leger or an English Oaks which is sold at one of their track sales.
The new initiative offered by GAIN Greyhound Nutrition will provide both the owner and the vendor to share the generous bonus with each receiving £5,000 if successful.
Nathan Corden of Greyhound Trader says “It is a fantastic bonus on offer and we are extremely grateful for the support shown by GAIN Greyhound Nutrition. I am sure there will be a few interested vendors sending greyhounds for our Pre-Derby Sale at Towcester on 21st April.”
Sean Traynor, UK Business Manager, GAIN Greyhound Nutrition, commented “We are delighted to support this initiative in association with Greyhound Trader. The bonus will see both the vendor and the owner recognised and be in with a chance of winning £5,000 each.”
James Corden of Greyhound Trader says “I am delighted to have finally got this sorted and my thanks go to Lofty at Star Sports who will be covering the bet. The bonus itself will be attached to the greyhound throughout their racing career and so will retain the added value onto each greyhound sold at our track sales. It must be clear that the bonus can only be claimed once per greyhound although if you’re winning two classics I’m not sure that’ll be an issue!”
Entries for the sale at Towcester can be made via firstname.lastname@example.org by 11th April.
