WHO WILL ‘COMPLETE THE SET’ AT ENISCORTHY?

WHO WILL ‘COMPLETE THE SET’ AT ENISCORTHY?

Ian Fortune

Enniscorthy aren’t afraid to try new things and their latest initiative is creating a real sense of fun and competition amongst their local handlers as they take on a giant-sized game of Bingo.

The name for the latest initiative is the “Can you win from all traps during September?” And the competition does exactly what it says on the tin. Every time a handler sends out a winner, that trap is crossed off on their bingo card.

And should any owner or trainer complete the set of six, they will win a hamper worth €150, packed with goodies for the owner and greyhound. One suspects it’s not about the prize, however, but rather getting one up on your fellow competitors.

Ahead of tonight’s action at the showgrounds, George Roche is heading the field after sending out two winners from two different traps.

And those looking after Enniscorthy aren’t forgetting about those not lucky enough to win. If your greyhound finishes out of the money on a Monday night through September, they will go into a draw with the chance to win:

  • A BAG OF DOG NUTS COMPLIMENTS OF FRANK ALL PET SUPPLIES
  • FREE UNOFFICAL TRIALS AT ENNISCORTHY TRACK
  • 1 SOLO TRIAL
  • 1 2 DOG TRIAL
  • 1 3 DOG TRIAL
  • A BOTTLE OF COUGH REMEDY FROM GREYHOUND EXTREME
  • A FINANCIAL TOKEN FROM WEXFORD GOBA
  • A GREYHOUND TREATMENT FROM GEOFF PARNABY

Best of luck to all hoping to ‘complete the set’. No doubt it is giving those with runners at the track plenty to talk about.
