SENSATIONAL PERFORMANCE FROM CLOGHEEN LASS IN MUNSTER OAKS

CLOGHEEN LASS (Laughil Duke-Leevalley Dancer) delivered a sensational performance in the final of the €5,000 Dave Collins Memorial Munster Oaks at Kilcohan Park on Saturday night.

Ballymac Art was setting the early fractions, but the eye was always drawn to the big finisher Clogheen Lass who was within touching distance early on. Making the big move before the final corner, the 7-4 favourite took over from Ballymac Art and the powerful performer stormed clear to land the feature, in a fantastic, 28.15. Five lengths back to the running on Ballygur Anne with half a length back to the front running Ballymac Art.

It was noted as a fantastic performance from the winner Clogheen Lass who is owned by the Farran-And-Away-Syndicate.
