NEW SPONSORS & NEW CONDITIONS FOR MUNSTER JUVENILE CUP

The prestigious Munster Juvenile Cup at Clonmel Track has for many years produced the highest quality of racing and Clonmel are delighted to announce new sponsors, and new conditions for the 2022 renewal which gets underway at the Suirside venue on Friday, October 21st.

Stud owners Michael Dunphy (Droopys Kennels); Michael Dunne (FFK Sires) and Sean Bourke (Newpark Stud) have combined to underwrite this event, which will now carry a first prize of €5,000.

It is for 48 greyhounds @ €30 each that were whelped in, or after September 2020 and who are A0 / A1 grade (please note the change of grade). 

Over the past few years it has been confined to A1/A2 but with A2 Stakes at Kilkenny & Cork being staged around the same time, it has been decided to change the event to an A0 / A1 competition.
