ETHAN EDGES OUT PADDY IN TIPSTER CHALLENGE THRILLER

After 6 rounds of wonderful Derby action, the results are in for the 2022 Kilkenny GOBA Top Tipster Competition and much like the Derby itself, it served up a tremendous finish.

To suggest it was tight at the top would be quite the understatement with both Ethan Moloney and Paddy Ryan scoring a total of 292 points each, proving themselves to be outstanding judges of form.

And so, what happens now? Well, as the rules of the competition state, the winner was decided by which of the duo picked the most first placed greyhounds over the 6 rounds. By way of picking two more winners than his rival, Ethan Moloney pipped Paddy Ryan to the prize.

By all accounts, the judge has declared the result after along photo-finish process. A huge congratulations to Ethan Moloney on his success and he collects a mighty impressive €2,000 for his efforts. Paddy will bag €250.

Incidentally, it was quit a photo finish as there was also a tie for third spot between young Sean Brien and Michael Wall, with the pair just two points behind with a whopping 290 points. A big thank you to everyone that took part in the competition and made it such a great success.
