The Kingdom Greyhound Stadium is proud to announce a new sponsorship deal with Nolans CVRT centre in Castleisland.

This event will be known as the Nolans CVRT Centre Kerry Oaks for A1 current bitches, with a €7.5k winner’s prize and will take place late January.

The sponsorship agreement will be for 3 years and is sure to attract a top class entry and is a great boost for owners and trainers with bitches of this class and gives them the opportunity to compete for outstanding prizemoney in the early part of the year.

Speaking at the launch, Tom Nolan said "we here in Nolans CVRT Test Centre in Castleisland are delighted to be associated with this new competition on the racing calendar for at least the next three years. Myself and Declan have considered our options re a new event on the calendar and felt this will be very attractive to owners and trainers alike who find it hard to source competitions for bitches only, especially at this time of the year."

Declan Dowling, Sales & Business Development Manager KGS, said "I am thrilled on behalf of the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium to have secured this sponsorship for the next three years and it will be a great start to the new year with attractive racing here at the stadium in what is normally a quiet time of the year. The prizemoney involved will be very appealing with full details to be announced shortly and this exciting new event will provide superb racing in Tralee leading right up to the Juvenile Classic and is sure to attract a big entry."
