While Sporting Press Irish Oaks champion Raha Mofo is currently creating history at Galway in the GRI Galway Oaks, smashing the track record in each of the two rounds to date, her dam Clares Queen has been busy.
Stevie Dunne, who bred Raha Mofo, posted on-line yesterday that his brood had a healthy litter of ten pups.
The litter is made up of five bitches and five dogs and the picture accompanying the post would suggest that mother and pups are doing great. One wonders will Stevie be too busy in the coming days to get to Galway this weekend to see Raha Mofo in the final of the Oaks?
I’m sure many of the pups have already found an owner but, it goes without saying, we wish them all the very best in the future. Who knows, there may be another Raha Mofo amongst them.
If you want to see the pups in all their glory, here’s a link to Stevie’s twitter post: https://twitter.com/steviedunne2/status/1595525675305295873?s=20&t=-rl6Ic1OgADulknFiva2rQ
