€150,000 PRIZEMONEY INCREASE IN DECEMBER ANNOUNCED

The Board of Greyhound Racing Ireland recognises that the cost-of-living crisis is having a significant impact on owners and trainers nationwide.  In response to this, the Board have approved an increase of €150,000 in prizemoney for the month of December 2022.  

Owners and trainers who compete in races in December will benefit from this significant one-time support package. The increased funding, which will be distributed based on the number of races held at each venue to date, will assist all venues nationwide. 

Each stadium racing manager will be responsible for the allocation of the additional prizemoney, to the best benefit for their local racing community.
